Yijin Wang is a Chinese-born clarinetist and 2016 National YoungArts Finalist who has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Sarasota Orchestra, and The Florida Orchestra. As a soloist, she has appeared with the Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra, UCLA Symphony Orchestra, and Guangxi Philharmonic Orchestra in works by Copland, Mozart, and Weber.
A graduate of the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where she earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree, Wang currently serves as Adjunct Clarinet Faculty at Seminole State College. She is regularly invited to conservatories, colleges, and music schools in China to present recitals and masterclasses.
